A fun paddle with a serious purpose.
Each year up to 600 paddlers paddle overnight in the moonlight, down the Hawkesbury River from Windsor to Brooklyn, to raise money for charity.
With 2016 being the 40th year of this iconic event, an optional “short” course is being offered.
A 65km paddle from Windsor to Wiseman’s Ferry will be available.
Just the thing for new starters as well as former “Classic” paddlers making a comeback for this paddling event milestone

Hawkesbury River Familiarisation Paddles
Tony Carr and Adrian Clayton from Freedom Outdoors will be conducting 4 familiarisation paddles in the lead-up to this year’s Classic. See here for details

Since our association with Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation began in 1994, paddlers in the Hawkesbury Canoe Classic have donated in excess of $3.3 million the for leukaemia research and patient support services.
The HCC contributes additional funds to a range of charitable community orgnaisations.
